Here's a little about the book:

In 1879 Europe will change forever. Something is rising in the east and it will consume everything in its path. Captain Charles Hayward could be our last hope.

A small fort in the Carpathian Mountains comes under a savage attack from a super-pack of wolves. It ends as quickly as it began, leaving many unanswered questions. The inhabitants of the fort use this window to escape, but find farms abandoned, villages empty and a strange silence. This changes at the Uzhok pass where they encounter something very different. Captain Hayward will now play his part in the cat and mouse retreat and where Europe will fight for her very survival.

He must help lead this band of civilians and Royal Engineers on an epic journey through a disintegrating Europe. Where every dark forest looks on menacingly, every sound treated with caution. They must follow the path home, but with something close to his heart nearby, choices will have to be made.

This is part 1 of a Trilogy

I give it a Year

Its been a while since a British comedy has got me excited at the anticipation of having a good old belly laugh. Well, "I give it a year" is that film. Looks funny, well written and something to look forward to in 2013. Bring it on !!!!

Robopocalypse

This is a writers dream. I heard about this a while ago and believe Spielberg is set to start filming in early 2013.   Apparently DreamWorks purchased the film rights of the novel before the publication was completely finished and set for release.   Now as a new writer, that would be a dream come true. "Honey its Steven Spielberg on the phone" ok he would probably get an assistance to call and set this all up, but still. I need to get Steve to look at my book 'Europe has Fallen', although I'm not sure he's the right director 'Like I’d turn him down'. Peter Jackson does fantasy, but would be ready to start another epic.. Could Howard Shore write another film score so soon? I'm hoping I'll find out soon.

Game of Thrones season 3

A sneak look at the making of Game of Thrones season 3. I cannot wait for this next April. Its such addictive television. The crew / actors / writers are making this into one of the best shows around.
